Ash Wednesday Care for Creation Actions

Elizabeth Seton High School heeded the message of the reading from the Book of Joel on Ash Wednesday as students and staff 'sounded the alarm about our mountains, our land, and the darkness and gloom' that is widespread in every continent due to the ravages of climate change. Students and staff signed petitions for the Maryland General Assembly calling for legislation that curbs our use of plastic, renews our energy resources, and promotes life for all.
