Teach-in and lobby night in Annapolis, MD

About 40 people participated in Maryland Catholics for Our Common Home’s teach-in and lobby night at the statehouse in Annapolis March 2nd. Participants from several parishes asked their legislators to support bills that would ban plastic bans; phase out coal-fired power plants; update the state’s greenhouse gas reduction plan; increase funding for public transportation; and remove trash incineration from the list of “renewable” energy sources.
